Rules change from one country to the next.
Each country has its own document. Houskare adapts to yours.
In Luxembourg, the energy performance certificate goes with every sale.
An energy performance certificate (passeport énergétique) is required to sell or let a home. Houskare keeps the certificate, the works history and your appliance manuals together, so nothing needs hunting down on sale day.
In Switzerland, several cantons require the CECB when you sell.
In the canton of Vaud, it must be handed to the buyer by the time the deed is signed. Rules vary from canton to canton. Houskare keeps the certificate and the works history you need to update it.
In Belgium, the post-intervention file (DIU) stays with the property.
Since 2001, almost all works on a building must be recorded in a DIU (plans, materials) handed to the buyer at the deed. An EPB certificate is required to sell or let. Houskare keeps these documents and your works history in one place.
In France, the housing information logbook (CIL) is mandatory.
Since 1 January 2023, every new home and all works that significantly improve energy performance must be recorded in a CIL. It is handed to the buyer by the time the deed is signed. Houskare builds it as your service history grows.
