Your data runs your logbook, nothing else. Here are the details.
Who is responsible for your data?
Enrick Exposito, who publishes Houskare in a personal capacity during its launch phase. Contact: contact@houskare.com. Once the operating company is set up, it will become the data controller and you will be informed by email.
What we collect
On houskare.com: no account data; our host logs technical connection data for security. We measure audience with Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies or persistent identifiers, producing aggregate statistics only. The country you pick is stored only in your browser.
In the my.houskare.com app: account data (name, email, optional phone, country), information about your homes, items, service visits, documents and photos, and, once paid plans open, billing data (payments are handled by our provider; we never see your card number).
For professionals: company name, trade, service area, business contact details and logged jobs.
Why, and on what basis
Providing the service: performance of contract. Billing: legal obligation. Security and improvement: legitimate interest. Introducing Houskare to building professionals using public business contact details: legitimate interest, with an opt-out in every message. Marketing to individuals and audience measurement on some blog pages: your consent.
Who can access it
Our team and our processors, within their remit: OVH (hosting and email, France), Stripe (payments), hCaptcha (bot protection on app forms), Cloudflare (anonymous, cookieless site analytics), Google (audience measurement on some blog pages, with consent). Transfers outside the EU are covered by GDPR safeguards. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Account and logbook data: while you use the service, deleted 3 years after your last login. Billing data: 10 years. Technical logs: up to 12 months. Professional prospecting data: 3 years after last contact.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent: write to contact@houskare.com; we reply within one month. You may also complain to the CNPD (Luxembourg) or your local data protection authority.
